Feature Upgrade

Assingment based on the email subject (with flexible placeholders)

Description: We have implemented a new option called Assignment Method in the email mapping setup within the inbound list. This option allows users to define whether an email should be assigned based on the email address or the email subject. For the email subject assignment method, two new fields have been introduced: the Linking Subject Field and the Linking Field Regex Pattern. The Linking Subject Field specifies which field should be used for mapping, while the Linking Field Regex Pattern allows users to define a regex rule to extract the necessary information from the email subject. This extracted value is then used to search for a target record.

Impact: This enhancement provides users with greater flexibility and control over how emails and attachments are assigned to records. By allowing assignment based on email subjects with customizable regex patterns, users can ensure more accurate and efficient mapping of inbound documents to their corresponding records. This update improves the overall document management process, reduces manual effort, and addresses previous challenges related to incorrect or unassigned documents. There are no expected negative side effects from this change.

The "import Files" option provides flexibility and control over email imports, enhancing document management efficiency.
