Diagram
With the element type Diagram, a diagram is created in the dashboard that serves to graphically represent the underlying datasets. The diagram visualizes the selected data and allows for a clear representation of trends and developments. Depending on the configuration, the data is automatically loaded from the associated dataset table and displayed in the dashboard.
Configuring a Diagram
To configure a diagram, you can follow these steps:
- Click on the search icon in the upper right corner .
- Search for Business Portals - Datasets and open the page.
- Select the dataset for which you want to configure the diagram.
- Perform the action Dashboard Groups in the menu bar of the opened dataset page.
- Create a new row or select an existing row; for more information on setting up a dashboard, follow this documentation.
- To assign a dataset, simply select one through the Dataset Table Code field; if none are visible, you can refer to this documentation on how to set up dataset tables.
- For your dashboard element, select the View Style Diagram from the list under Element View Style.
- The FactBox Web Content is available on the page. If it is not visible, it can be displayed via the info icon in the upper right corner.
- Perform the action Edit the Info Box.
- Here you can set the title and CSS rules.
Metadata for Diagram
In the General section, you can define the basic properties of the diagram:
- Caption: Indicates the title of the diagram.
- Subtitle: Indicates the subtitle of the diagram.
- CSS Class - Content: Specifies a custom CSS class for formatting the content.
- CSS Class - Header: Specifies a custom CSS class for formatting the header.
Diagram Options
In the Diagram section, you can configure additional properties:
- Prevent List View: Determines whether the cue should restrict navigation to a detailed list view.
