Text

The dataset type Text is used to represent pure text content in the Business Portals. The entire page consists of text and is suitable, for example, for longer descriptions, notes, information pages, or explanatory content without any further structural elements.

Follow these steps to assign the dataset the style type Text:

  1. Select the desired dataset table in the dataset.
  2. Click on Web Content on the right and then on Edit to start the configuration.
  3. Set the type Text in the View Style field.
  4. Choose the width of the field in which the text should be displayed (Column Span). The maximum width is 12.
  5. Under Column Offset, you can define how much space should be left on the left side before the text field begins.
  6. Navigate to the Text section.
  7. Open the text window by clicking on the three dots.
  8. By clicking on Comment, a text field opens where you can insert any text.
  9. We recommend storing the texts for all desired language codes accordingly.
