Getting Started with QR Pay

This guide will help you quickly get started with QR Pay using the setup wizard and standard configuration. QR Pay is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, allowing you to enhance B2C invoices with standardized EPC QR codes for fast, secure, and error-free payments. For advanced users, QR Pay also offers manual configuration options to tailor the solution to your specific business needs.

What is an EPC QR Code?

An EPC QR code is based on the European Payments Council (EPC) standard for SEPA credit transfers. It encodes all relevant payment information such as IBAN, amount, and reference in a machine readable format. This allows customers to scan the code with any banking app and complete the payment in seconds, without manual entry.

Try It Out

If you’d like to try out QR Pay before subscribing, you can sign up for a free trial on Microsoft AppSource by selecting "Free trial" in the upper-left corner. This free trial gives you access to all QR Pay functionalities for up to 30 days. During or after the trial period, you can easily subscribe to QR Pay, allowing you to continue working with the same data as in the trial period. QR Pay works right out of the box and places EPC QR codes on your invoices without requiring any changes to your reports. However, if you’re working with customized reports or have specific layout requirements, you can use report extensions to adapt QR Pay even more precisely to your needs. With report extensions, QR Pay can be smoothly integrated into your existing Business Central setup—even if you already use customized reports.
