Setting up Product Users

In the CORE - Product Users it is possible to add users and manage their licenses, such as activate or deactivate them. It is also possible to access the CORE - Users from the CORE - Product Users.

It is not possible to access the CORE - Product Users via the search.

Product Users setup

Important

The user needs to have a permission to manage other users permissions. Activated users will be automatically given the required permissions to access the product.

The user must have an Administrator permission, and the permissions to manage other users permissions, to be able to do the following steps.

  1. Click on Setup in the ribbon bar and execute the action General.
  2. Execute the action License in the ribbon bar.
  3. Click on Users in the ribbon bar.
  4. Add a user to the list.
  5. Activate/deactivate the user.
  6. Successfully activated/deactivated the user.

Info

The users are automatically taken from the Users page. If it is not listed, you can open the dropdown menu and click on add, then insert your user from the list. Make sure that the user is in Active state in the Users page.

Removing a user from the Users page

The user in Users page cannot be deleted or deactivated, if the user is activated in one of the Simova apps. Before doing the action listed, please deactive the user if it is activated.

Functionalities

  • Core User Setup: This button opens the CORE - Users page, where the users can viewed and configured.
  • Activate: This button activates the user for the product.
  • Deactivate: This button deactivates the user for the product.
  • Delete: This button deletes the user for the product.
