Working with Unsended Shipping Entries

It is possible to save booked entries that were not sent via Document Dispatch. These entries can be edited and sent later.

Configuration

Follow these steps to enable unsended entries:

  1. Switch to the role Document Dispatch – Administrator.
  2. In the Setup menu, open Shipping Profiles.
  3. Select the shipping profile to be used for the table for which unsended entries are to be created.
  4. Enable the option Automatic Sending.
  5. Enable the option Create Unsended Entries.

After completing these steps, unsended entries will automatically be created during the booking process for all entries that do not have an active shipping profile but are based on the same table.

Viewing Unsended Entries

You can view unsended entries in various ways:

Through the Administrator Role Center

  1. Switch to the role Document Dispatch - Administrator.
  2. Go to Shipping Entries and select Unsended.

Through the User Role Center

  1. Switch to the role Document Dispatch - User.
  2. Go to Shipping Entries and select Unsended.
  1. Switch to the role Document Dispatch - Administrator.
  2. Open the search and look for Unsended Shipping Entries.

Editing and Sending Unsended Entries

For unsended entries to be sent, valid shipping profiles must be set up. Instructions for this can be found here: Setting up Shipping Profiles.

Once the shipping profiles are set up, follow these steps to send unsended entries:

  1. Open the unsended entry.
  2. Click on Check for Valid Entries.
  3. Select the entries you want to send.
  4. Click on Send.

Info

  • After sending, the unsended entry will be removed from the list.
  • If the underlying record is sent, the associated unsended entry will also be removed.
