Working with Unsent Dispatch Entries

It is possible to save booked entries that have not been sent via Document Dispatch. These entries can be edited and sent later.

Configuration

Follow these steps to enable unsent entries:

  1. Switch to the Document Dispatch - Administrator role.
  2. Open Dispatch Profiles from the Setup menu.
  3. Select the dispatch profile for the table where you want to create unsent entries.
  4. Enable the option Create Unsent Entries.

Once these steps are completed, unsent entries will be automatically created during the booking process for all records without an active dispatch profile that are based on the same table.

Viewing Unsent Entries

You can view unsent entries in different ways:

Through the Administrator Role Center

  1. Switch to the Document Dispatch - Administrator role.
  2. Navigate to Dispatch Entries and select Unsent.

Through the User Role Center

  1. Switch to the Document Dispatch - User role.
  2. Navigate to Dispatch Entries and select Unsent.
  1. Switch to the Document Dispatch - Administrator role.
  2. Open the search function and look for Unsent Dispatch Entries.

Editing and Sending Unsent Entries

To send unsent entries, valid dispatch profiles must be set up. You can find instructions here: Setting Up Dispatch Profiles.

Once the dispatch profiles are set up, follow these steps to send unsent entries:

  1. Open the unsent entry.
  2. Click Check for Valid Entries.
  3. Select the entries you want to send.
  4. Click Send.

Info

  • Once an unsent entry is sent, it will be removed from the list.
  • If the underlying record is sent, the corresponding unsent entry will also be removed.
