Calendar Settings

In the Calendar section, you can configure the properties of the calendar element:

  • Date Field: Defines the date field from the selected dataset that is used for displaying appointments or entries in the calendar. A field of type date must be selected for the calendar to associate and display entries for a specific day. Examples include booking date, order date, or delivery date.

  • Title Field: Defines the dataset field whose content is displayed as the title of the appointment or entry in the calendar. The value of the selected field is used as the label for the respective calendar entry. For example, the invoice number, order number, or another unique reference can be displayed directly in the calendar.

  • Description Field: Defines the dataset field whose content is displayed as the description of the appointment or entry. The value of the selected field is used as additional information text for the calendar entry and can provide the user with further details about the appointment or entry.

  • Location Field: Defines the dataset field whose content is displayed as the location of the appointment or entry. The value of the selected field is used as the venue or meeting point of the calendar entry.

  • Label for No Appointments: Defines the text that is displayed when there are no appointments or entries for the selected day.

Note

The fields available in the calendar settings are based on the fields selected in the dataset. If required fields are not available for selection, they can be added in the corresponding dataset under the Fields section.

Calendar Styles

  • Appointment Background (specific): Defines a dataset field whose value is used to individually control the background color of an appointment or entry. This allows different appointments or entries to be visually distinguished by color.

  • Appointment Icon (specific): Defines a dataset field that can display a unique icon for each appointment or entry. This allows appointments or entries to be represented differently based on their data.

  • General Appointment Icon: Defines the default icon for appointments or entries. This icon is used when no specific appointment icon is configured or no icon value is available for an appointment or entry.
