Document Central for Portals Connector

The Document Central for Portals Connector can be installed directly from Microsoft AppSource. Once installed, the integration is immediately available within Simova Business Portals.

Installation via AppSource

1. Go to appsource.microsoft.com
2. Search for Document Central for Portals
3. Click on Get it now
4. Follow the steps to deploy the extension to your Business Central environment

Activation in Business Portals

After the extension is installed, a new option becomes available in the Module Setup of Business Portals under the DMS dropdown: Document Central by Simova

By selecting this option:

• Files uploaded on records through Business Portals are stored in Document Central, not locally in Business Portals.
• If configured, users can also view and download documents from Document Central directly within Business Portals.
