Setting up the Contact Person
The contact person is the person who is responsible for the product in the company. The contact person will be notified if any action is required for the product. For example, if the Client Secret is about to expire. In addition, the name and email address you provide will be forwarded to Simova GmbH so that they can contact you directly in the event of problems with your product or for maintenance purposes.
Activate the contact person
There are 2 ways to enter the contact person. One is to enter it directly when activating the license via the license wizard or via an action in the module setup.
Activate the contact person via the license wizard
The following steps need to be completed to activate the contact person via the license wizard.
- Start in the Administrator Role of the Product.
- Navigate to the Module Setup of the product and execute the action license.
- Click on Activate license in the ribbon bar.
- Follow the steps in the wizard until the step Contact Person is displayed.
- Enter the data for the contact person in the given fields.
- Click on Next to continue the wizard. If you want to enter the contact person for all companies for the current product in the tenant, click OK in the dialogue box.
Activate the contact person via the module setup
The following steps need to be completed to activate the contact person via the module setup.
- Start in the Administrator Role of the Product.
- Navigate to the Module Setup of the product and execute the action License.
- Click on Change Contact Person in the ribbon bar.
- Enter the data for the contact person in the given fields.
- Click on OK to save the contact person. If you want to enter the contact person for all companies for the current product in the tenant, click OK in the dialogue box.
