The Outlook Integration
This upcoming feature is an advanced Outlook Integration in the form of an Add-In, called Document Link. This feature will streamline your workflow by allowing you to directly store documents from your Outlook interface into Document Central.
It will intelligently sort and store these documents in the correct area or into inbound lists from document inbound, enhancing efficiency and organization.

Datagrid Presentation Control
Introducing a new and highly anticipated feature in Document Central - the "Views" function. This feature empowers both users and administrators to manage the presentation of the datagrid with ease and efficiency. With "Views," users can create, save, and customize their own datagrid views, including the ability to present, hide, rearrange metadata columns, and apply groupings by metadata. This level of customization ensures that users can tailor their datagrid views to their specific needs and preferences.
The "Views" function also benefits administrators by allowing them to create and save datagrid views that can be assigned to DMS users or user groups. This means that administrators can ensure consistency in data presentation across roles and profiles, streamlining the process and eliminating the need for individual users to configure their own datagrid presentations. This not only saves time but also ensures a uniform and cohesive user experience within Document Central.
Furthermore, this feature provides a significant advantage to BC-application providers that incorporate the DMS module. It offers the ability to configure a datagrid presentation that best fits the applied localization of the BC-application, ensuring that the data presentation aligns with the specific requirements of the application.
In summary, the "Views" function in Document Central is a powerful and versatile tool that enhances user experience, simplifies administrative tasks, and provides tailored datagrid presentations based on localization, ultimately improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the DMS module.

Management of SharePoint Permissions
The upcoming feature will enable Document Central Admins to manage SharePoint permissions directly within Business Central.
The feature will work in in accordance to the Microsoft Security Groups, by enablind Document Central User Groups to be representing a Security Group. Therefore, existing Security Groups from Mircosoft Entra can be added in Document Central or new ones can be created. Giving or revoking permissions on the Document Central side will then automatically enact the same permissions on SharePoints Document Library level. The feature will allow for the streamlined management of permissions, saving a considerable amount of time and effort.

Version Retention for Azure Blob Storage
The upcoming feature will allow Document Central users to view retention label information, including label name and information, for every single version of a document in the datagrid. This enhancement will provide visibility into retention labels for each version stored in Azure Blob Storage, ensuring accurate and comprehensive record-keeping.
Handling of expired Retention Labels
Introducing a new Feature for the Document Retention Management:
Document Central will enable an automatic deletion of document entries with expired retention. Additionally, we will provice a list of expired document entries for optimized handling and transparency.
