Button
The button element type creates a single button in the dashboard that can open the underlying dataset table. When configuring a button, you can choose between a small and a large button. If you configure a row with the type Tile and it contains a button configured as small, the button will be added to the top right menu of the tile, displayed as .
Configuring a Button
To configure a button, you can follow these steps:
- Click on the search icon in the top right corner .
- Search for Business Portals - Datasets and open the page.
- Select the dataset for which you want to configure the element.
- On the newly opened dataset page, perform the Action Dashboard Groups.
- Create a new row or select an existing row; for more information on setting up a dashboard, follow this documentation.
- To assign a dataset, simply select one through the Dataset Table Code field; if none are visible, you can refer to this documentation on how to set up dataset tables.
- There is a fact box named Web Content on the page; if it is not visible on the page, you can simply click on the info icon in the top right corner.
- Perform the action to edit the info box.
- Here you can set the title, CSS rules, and size of your button.
Metadata for Button
In the General section, you can define the basic properties of the cues:
- Caption: Specifies the title of the button.
- Subtitle: Specifies the subtitle of the button.
- CSS Class - Content: Specifies a custom CSS class for formatting the content.
- CSS Class - Header: Specifies a custom CSS class for formatting the header.
Button Options
In the Button section, you can configure additional properties:
- Button Size: Determines whether the button should be displayed as large or small. If the button is configured as small, the button will be added to the top right menu of the tile.
