Setting up the Job Queue Restarter
The Job Queue Restarter ensures that important background processes (Job Queue) in Business Central are automatically restarted in case they stop unexpectedly. This helps maintain continuous operations like archiving, search indexing, and cleanup processes. Additionally, the configured email addresses will receive notifications when an issue arises with the job queues.
Configure the Job Queue Restarter
The following steps need to be completed to configure the Job Queue Restarter manually.
- Start in the Administrator Role of the Product.
- Navigate to the page Simova Apps | CORE - Job Queue Restarter.
- Click on + New to add a new job queue entry.
- Fill out the necessary fields.
- Enable this checkbox if email notifications should be sent in case of failure.
- Clsoe the Page to finalize the configuration.
