Permissions

Phone Connect provides two permission levels by default: "Administrator" and "User". If the user should not actively edit the system configuration, the SIM_CTI User permission is recommended.

Administrator

With administrator permissions, the user has the ability to adjust module settings and access the Admin-Rollencenter. This permission can be configured in the user setup and is labeled SIM_CTI Admin. It is assigned to the Phone Connect Admin, who also has access to important information about the Phone Connect users from the Business Central environment.

User

The Phone Connect user has more limited permissions compared to the administrator. This permission is assigned to the Phone Connect User Role Center and is named SIM_CTI User. The user does not have access to administrative functions and can only access certain data that has been made available to them.
