Setting up Dispatch Profiles with a XSD attachment as XML (ZUGFeRD)
To be able to send XSD attachments, a new dispatch profile must be created or an existing dispatch profile can be extended. For the ZUGFeRD format, we advise you to use an existing dispatch profile by sending a classic PDF.
Setting up an existing Dispatch Profile
The following steps need to be completed to set up an existing Dispatch Profile.
- Open Dispatch Profiles from the Setup menu in the ribbon bar and execute Dispatch Profiles.
- Choose an existing Dispatch Profile.
Setting up Document Dispatch Profile Attachment
- Open Options in the action bar.
- Switch the Report Output Type from standard PDF to PDF/A-3.
- Navigate to the PDF/A-3 register.
- Choose the Type XSD.
- Define the Filename with factur-x.xml.
- Choose in the Description the XSD schema for ZUGFeRD.
- Save and close the page.
Steps to set up a new Dispatch Profile Attachment
The following steps need to be completed to set up the Dispatch Profile Attachment.
- Open Dispatch Profile from the Setup.
- Click on New in the menu bar.
- Enter a Code.
- Select Mail for the Output Type.
- Select the Table.
- Enter a Description.
- Confirm the Enable Factbox Sending.
- Select and define the Business Partner Mappings.
- Select a Page.
- Click on Output Type Setup in the menu bar.
- Enter the Email Account Name.
- Select Document Dispatch for the Email Template Type.
- Select the Default Email Template.
- Setup the Email Text Placeholders.
- Save and Close the Document Dispatch - Output Settings.
Setting up Document Dispatch Profile Attachment
- Select Report for the Type.
- Enter a Description.
- Select a Object.
- Click on Option.
- Choose the File Caption for a XML file.
- Define the Placeholder.
- Choose for the Report Output Type PDF or PDF/A-3.
- Save, close and confirm with OK
