Allowed File Types

The ticket system requires the configuration of allowed file types by specifying which file types may be uploaded. This ensures that only supported documents are accepted while unnecessary, unsupported, or potentially harmful files are excluded from the upload. This section provides guidance on configuring the allowed file types in Business Portals.

  1. Navigate in the Business Portals – Role Center via Portal Setup in the menu bar.
  2. Select Ticket Setup.
  3. Click on Allowed File Types in the action bar.
  4. Enter the allowed file extension in the list, for example .jpg, .png, .pdf, etc.

Only the file types configured here can be uploaded by Web Users in the ticket system. If no file types are specified, all file types are allowed. Business Portals Users can still use all file types in the ticket system and are not subject to any restrictions.
