Key features

Repository-Independent Connector for Document Central

Description: Refactored the Business Portals Connector App for Document Central to enable repository-independent access and added enhanced error handling with log entries. Previously, only documents stored in a SharePoint repository could be exposed through the Business Portals. With this update, the connector now supports any repository type configured in Document Central, such as SharePoint and Azure Blob Storage.

Impact: This enhancement provides customers with full flexibility in repository selection, unifies access logic for various storage backends, simplifies deployment, and broadens the use case for portal-based document sharing. It also reduces the need for customization or multiple connector versions, offering a more streamlined and versatile solution. The added error handling improves system reliability and aids in troubleshooting by providing detailed log entries.

Business Portals Module Setup shows the wrong Caption

Description: The caption of the Business Portals Module Setup page has been corrected from "Document Central for Portals Module Setup" to "Business Portals - Module Setup" to accurately reflect the intended title.

Impact: This change improves user experience by providing the correct page title, thereby reducing confusion and ensuring consistency within the application. No adverse side effects are expected from this update.

Portal Incorrectly Downloads Delivery Note Instead of Selected Document Type

Description: Resolved an issue where downloading different document types (weighing slip, acceptance slip) linked to an invoice incorrectly resulted in the delivery note being downloaded. The document content now correctly matches the requested document type.

Impact: Users can now accurately download the intended document types (weighing slip, acceptance slip) without encountering mismatched content, ensuring reliable document retrieval and reducing confusion.
