Wizard To Change Cost/Pricing of Contract Lines#16146

Description: Introduced functionality allowing Contract Management Users to change the cost/pricing of a contract line through a guided wizard. This enhancement enables users to adjust contract costs in response to changes, such as rental price adjustments, with ease and precision.

Impact: This change empowers users to maintain accurate and up-to-date contract pricing, ensuring financial records reflect current costs. The wizard simplifies the process, enhancing user experience by providing a structured and user-friendly approach to making cost adjustments. This reduces the risk of discrepancies due to cost changes and improves overall contract management efficiency.

Entry History Log#16145

Description: A history log feature has been added to the Contract Management system. This log records changes made to entry lines, such as price modifications, allowing users to see the previous and current values. This enhancement ensures transparency and traceability of changes.

Impact: Users will benefit from improved visibility into modifications, facilitating better tracking and auditing of contract changes. This enhancement resolves issues related to unclear change history and supports more informed decision-making.

Extend Placeholder with an Option/Enum to add static functions#16101

Description: Added "Placeholder Types", including field and data mapping, which were already available. Additionally, numerous static functions such as Current Date, Record Link, and User ID have been introduced as new types.

Impact: This change enhances the product's capability to generate more informative and dynamic content within contracts. Users can now leverage these new placeholder types to include current dates, record links, and user IDs, leading to more accurate and detailed contract documentation. This improvement enriches the overall user experience by providing greater flexibility and functionality.

Task & Obligations#16010

Description: Introduced the ability to define Tasks & Obligations within the Contract Management module. This feature enables users to assign, track, and manage specific responsibilities related to contracts, providing greater control and clarity in contract execution.

Impact: Users can now create and monitor detailed contract tasks and obligations, ensuring accountability, compliance, and timely fulfillment of contractual requirements. This enhancement improves transparency and reduces the risk of missed or delayed contract deliverables.

Contract Restrictions Groups to open the contract#16006

Description: Implemented access control for contract viewing, allowing only individuals directly involved with a contract—such as responsible persons, reviewers, participants, and observers—to open and view contract details. This ensures sensitive contract information is accessible exclusively to those with a legitimate role in the contract.

Impact: Users will experience improved data security, as confidential contract information is now restricted to authorized stakeholders actively engaged with the contract. This enhancement protects sensitive data and prevents access by unrelated users.

Fixed and improved

Some features are available even if license is not active#17052

Description: Resolved an issue where cues and the contract creation wizard were visible and accessible in the Contract Management environment even without an active license. This was due to a missing license verification query following a switch to module-based licensing.

Impact: Users without an active Contract Management license will no longer see cues or access the contract creation wizard, ensuring proper license enforcement and preventing unauthorized access to these features.

Responsible users assigned to the contract cannot reject or review contracts.#16979

Description: Resolved an issue where normal users were unable to review or reject contracts due to a permissions error. This fix ensures that the appropriate permissions are checked and validated, allowing normal users to perform these actions as intended.

Impact: Users will now be able to successfully review or reject contracts without encountering permission-related errors, improving the workflow and user experience within the contract management system.

Error message appears when clicking currency code on active contract#16151

Description: A bug was fixed where an error message occurred when attempting to change the currency code on an active contract. This was necessary to prevent system errors and ensure that contracts remain unmodifiable when active.

Impact: Users will no longer encounter an error message when clicking the currency code on active contracts. This enhances system stability and ensures the integrity of active contracts by preventing unintended modifications.

Change Captions from | to -#16105

Description: The issue where the Contract Management Page caption displayed as "Contract Management |" instead of "Contract Management" has been resolved. This correction ensures consistency in page captions across the application.

Impact: Users will now see the correct page caption, enhancing the user experience by providing clear and accurate navigation labels. This fix eliminates confusion and improves the overall usability of the Contract Management module.

Change Relation in Document Central from Document Line to Document Header#16106

Description: Fixed a bug where assigning a line in a Purchase Invoice incorrectly created a document relation from the Contract to the Document Header instead of the line. This correction ensures document relations are accurately assigned to the intended line.

Impact: Users will now experience accurate document relation assignments when working with Purchase Invoices, improving data integrity and workflow efficiency. This resolves the issue of incorrect document relations which may have caused confusion or errors in document tracking and management.
