Setting Up Caller Cards

Phone Connect allows you to set up caller cards that are displayed during various telephony events. These cards can be configured either for all Phone Connect users or individually for specific contacts of a user.

Defined Caller Cards

  1. Open the Phone Connect Admin Role Center and go to the Call Management tab in the ribbonbar.
  2. Click on the Module Seteup action.
  3. Click on Caller Cards.
  4. Add the following card IDs to the list:

    ID Name

    5227427 Phone Connect Incoming Call Contact - Sales
    5227430 Phone Connect Incoming Call Contact - Std
    5227431 Phone Connect Incoming Call - Unknown
    5227435 Phone Connect Incoming Call Customer - Std
    5227436 Phone Connect Incoming Call - Internal
    5227439 Phone Connect Incoming Call Vendor - Std
    5227443 Phone Connect Incoming Call Customer - Sales
    5227444 Phone Connect Incoming Call Vendor - Purchase

Phone Connect User Configuration

Once the caller cards are defined, they can be assigned to users in the Phone Connect user configuration.

  1. Navigate to Phone Connect users using the search.
  2. Select the desired user.
  3. Go to the Caller Card Assignment tab. Now you can assign the desired caller cards to the user.

    The caller cards will be displayed as soon as a call takes place. Additional specific settings must be configured in the Phone Connect User Setup. Here, for example, you can define whether a caller card should automatically close once a call ends.

User Settings Page for Contact

  1. Navigate to Caller Card Assignment for Contacts using the search.
  2. Create a user card setup per line for a Phone Connect User and a specific contact number. Select the Phone Connect User ID in the User ID column and enter the contact number in the corresponding field.

    In some cases, it can be useful to display specific caller cards for certain contacts during a call. The user settings page for contacts allows further customization of the caller cards.
