Setting up an Individual Custom Report Layout Table

Dynamic Document Layout Table

In Document Dispatch, it is possible to use a different/individual table for the document layouts. To use the table, follow the steps below.

  1. Navigate to the Business Mapping Setup page
  2. Go to the line of the needed master data.
  3. Go to the field "Document Layout Table" and select the table for the document layout.
  4. Go to the field "Document Layout Recipient Field" and select the field that specifies the recipient email.
  5. Go to the field "Document Layout Report Code Field" and select the field which specifies the report layout code.
  6. Go to the field "Document Layout Report ID Field" and select the field which specifies the report id for the document layout.
  7. Go to the field "Document Layout Source No. Field" and select the field which specifies the source no. In the BC standard, the field specifies if the report layout is used by a customer or a vendor.
  8. Go to the field "Document Layout Mapping Table Field" and select the field which specifies the source type. In the BC standard, this field contains the table id from the customers or vendors.
  9. Now the dynamic document layout page will be used automatically.

Warning

The dynamic document layout table will only be used when all the document layout fields in the business mapping setup are filled. Be sure the right fields are selected to avoid errors in the Document Dispatch sending.
