Setting up Dispatch Profiles with a XSD attachment as XML (XInvoicing)

To be able to send XSD attachments, a new dispatch profile must be created or an existing dispatch profile can be extended. For the XInvoice format, we advise you to create a new shipping profile.

Setting up a new Dispatch Profile

The following steps need to be completed to set up a new Dispatch Profile.

  1. Open Dispatch Profile from the Setup.
  2. Click on New in the menu bar.
  3. Enter a Code.
  4. Select Mail for the Output Type.
  5. Select the Table.
  6. Enter a Description.
  7. Confirm the Enable Factbox Sending.
  8. Select and define the Business Partner Mappings.
  9. Select a Page.
  10. Click on Output Type Setup in the menu bar.
  11. Enter the Email Account Name.
  12. Select EDS by Simova for the Email Template Type.
  13. Select the Default Email Template.
  14. Setup the Email Text Placeholders.
  15. Save and Close the EDS - Output Settings.

Info

If the line is shown with the color Red, we could use the action Check Configuration to look at what needs to be filled to make the profile work.

Steps to set up the Dispatch Profile Attachment

The following steps need to be completed to set up the Dispatch Profile Attachment.

First Line

  1. Select the Type XSD.
  2. Enter the Description.
  3. Click on Options in the menu bar.
  4. Select a XSD XInvoice schema for the Description.
  5. Select the File Caption for the XML file.
  6. Define the Placeholders for the File Caption.
  7. Save and close.

Secound Line

  1. Select the Type Report.
  2. Enter the Description.
  3. Select the Object.
  4. Click on Options in the menu bar.
  5. Select the Object.
  6. Select the File Caption for a XML file.
  7. Setup the File Caption Placeholders.
  8. Select for the Report Output Type PDF or PDF/A-3.
  9. Navigate to the Register Queue Info.
  10. Create an EDS Caption for the Addional Reference Document Typcode.
  11. Choose the Language Code.
  12. Define for every language the Caption with 916.
  13. Save, close and confirm with OK
  14. Create an EDS Caption for the Addional Reference Document Issuer Assigned ID.
  15. Choose the Language Code.
  16. Define an individual caption.
  17. Save and close.
  18. Confirm with OK.

Create an Attachment Group

  1. Navigate to field Attachment Group.
  2. Create a new attachment group.
  3. Define the Code with XSD.
  4. Choose the File Caption for the XML file.
  5. Define the Placeholder.
  6. Choose for Line 1 and Line 2 the attachment group XSD.

Attachment Group Sequence

  1. Define the Line with the Type XSD with 0.
  2. Define the Line with the Type Report with 1.
