Setting up API URL
The Simova API is designed to manage functionalities for Simova extensions that operate outside of the Business Central (BC) system. There are scenarios where altering the API URL is necessary, such as when deploying a proprietary API installation. This flexibility ensures that the API can be tailored to specific infrastructure requirements, thereby optimizing the performance and integration of Simova extensions with external systems.
How to change the API URL
After the provision of another API URL, the following steps are needed to use the API in the Business Central system/Simova CORE.
- Go to the Module Setup of your installed product.
- Click on License.
- Click on Setup.
- Enter the API URL.

The API URL must belong to an instance of API by Simova.
