Caller Card Setup

CTI by Simova has the option to set up special caller cards. This setup defines cards to be displayed during different telephony events. The caller cards can either be set up for every CTI user or even individually for particular contacts per CTI user.

This setups are not provided with the CTI setup wizard.

Defined caller cards:

  1. Open the Business Central Client with the desired client.
  2. Navigate to Departments and choose Simova Apps | CTI in the main ribbon. Open the CTI Defined Cards in the section Administration.
  3. Add the following Card IDs to the list:

    ID Name
    5227426 CTI Call Out - Standard
    5227427 CTI Call In Contact - Sales
    5227430 CTI Call In Contact - Std
    5227431 CTI Call In - Unknown
    5227435 CTI Call In Customer - Std
    5227436 CTI Call In - Internal
    5227439 CTI Call In Vendor - Std
    5227443 CTI Call In Customer - Sales
    5227444 CTI Call In Vendor - Sales
  4. Close the caller card definition by clicking OK.

CTI User Setup Page:

  1. Open the Business Central Client with the desired client.
  2. Choose the image icon.
  3. Enter CTI User Setup Page in the search field on the right side.
  4. The CTI User Setup Page is displayed in the search result.
  5. Create a User Setup per line for the created CTI Users. Herefore, choose the User ID in the column User ID:

  6. The card IDs from the CTI User Setup Page now need to be assigned to the particular telephony events.

    The caller cards are opened when a telephony event takes place. The specific setup herefore still has to be performed in the CTI user setup. There it can i.e. be defined if a caller card shall be closed after finishing a call.

  7. Close the CTI User Setup Page by clicking OK.

User Setup Page for Contact

  1. Open the Business Central Client with the desired client.
  2. Choose the image icon.
  3. Enter CTI User Setup Page for Contact in the search field on the right side.
  4. The CTI User Setup Page for Contact is displayed in the search result.
  5. Create a User Card Setup per line for a CTI User and a specific Contact No.. Herefore, choose the CTI User ID in the column User-ID and enter the Contact No. in the corresponding field.

    For example:

    User ID Contact Code Page ID
    CTI_USER CT200081 5227427

    Info

    In some cases it may be useful that specific caller cards are displayed for particular contacts during a call. The User Setup Page for Contact enables a further individualization of the caller cards.

  6. Assign a specific caller card to this combination.

  7. Close the User Setup Page for Contact by clicking OK.
