How to create a federal state

For a problem-free connection to the EIBE portal, it is important that you use the correct tax number format. The tax number formats can be found on the homepage of the German Federal Tax Office. You can create a federal state in the general settings of Bau13b by Simova. The following steps need to be completed to create a new federal state:

  1. Use the search bar to open the Vendor card.
  2. Navigate to the Bau13b by Simova factbox.
  3. Click on Set up.
  4. The Modul setup card opens.
  5. Click on Federal State in the menu bar.
  6. The Federal State card opens.
  7. Click on New.
  8. Enter the Key for the federal state (Special key from the German federal tax office) you will create.
  9. Enter the Federal State.
  10. Enter the Tax number format for the federal state (Special key from the German federal tax office) you will create.
  11. Confirm with OK.
