Number transformation

CTI by Simova give you the opportunity to transform phone numbers with special characters.

Number substitution

The following steps need to be performed to transform phone numbers with special characters.

  1. Open the Business Central client.
  2. Choose the image icon, enter the Simova Apps | CTI - Administrator role.
  3. In the CTI - Administrator role center, you have to navigate to the Open Module Setup
  4. When you open the CTI Setup for the first time, you will be asked if you want to set up your user account as CTI Administrator.
  5. Confirm the message with Yes.
  6. After being registered as an administrator, you can navigate in the menu bar to Number substitution
  7. On the left side, the special characters that are to be transformed must be entered. On the right side, the field can empty or the alternative character can be entered.

    The default special characters are already entered in CTI.

  8. Now return to the module setup.

  9. Execute the function Trim Phone Numbers via the menu bar.
