Setting up Dispatch Profiles with a XSD attachment as XML (ZUGFeRD)

To be able to send XSD attachments, a new dispatch profile must be created or an existing dispatch profile can be extended. For the ZUGFeRD format, we advise you to use an existing dispatch profile by sending a classic PDF.

Setting up an existing Dispatch Profile

The following steps need to be completed to set up an existing Dispatch Profile.

1. Open Dispatch Profiles from the Setup menu in the ribbon bar and execute Dispatch Profiles.
2. Choose an existing Dispatch Profile.

Setting up EDS Dispatch Profile Attachment

1. Open Options in the action bar.
2. Switch the Report Output Type from standard PDF to PDF/A-3.
3. Navigate to the PDF/A-3 register.
4. Choose the Type XSD.
5. Define the Filename with factur-x.xml.
6. Choose in the Description the XSD schema for ZUGFeRD.
7. Save and close the page.

Steps to set up a new Dispatch Profile Attachment

The following steps need to be completed to set up the Dispatch Profile Attachment.

1. Open Dispatch Profile from the Setup.
2. Click on New in the menu bar.
3. Enter a Code.
4. Select Mail for the Output Type.
5. Select the Table.
6. Enter a Description.
7. Confirm the Enable Factbox Sending.
8. Select and define the Business Partner Mappings.
9. Select a Page.
10. Click on Output Type Setup in the menu bar.
11. Enter the Email Account Name.
12. Select EDS by Simova for the Email Template Type.
13. Select the Default Email Template.
14. Setup the Email Text Placeholders.
15. Save and Close the EDS - Output Settings.

Setting up EDS Dispatch Profile Attachment

1. Select Report for the Type.
2. Enter a Description.
3. Select a Object.
4. Click on Option.
5. Choose the File Caption for a XML file.
6. Define the Placeholder.
7. Choose for the Report Output Type PDF or PDF/A-3.
8. Save, close and confirm with OK
