Interaction log in Combination with CRM

The interaction log is a feature within the realm of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, used by DMS to efficiently record and trace document uploads made by users. This feature provides a powerful tool for administrators, allowing them to gain insight into activities occurring in their environment. By recording user interactions like the upload, administrators can note and trace these interactions, improving transparency and facilitating more efficient management of their business processes and data.

How to Track Uploads

  1. Navigate through the DMS by Simova - Administrator role center.
  2. Click on Setup in the ribbon bar and execute the action General.
  3. Activate the checkbox CRM Active under the section CRM.
  4. The individual triggers are set up with the standard templates when the CRM feature is activated.

This log is deactivated by default.

Possibility to Revise the Interaction Log Beforehand

  1. Move to the mapping of the document library where uploads should be tracked.
  2. Activate Open Interaction Log entry Under the section CRM Configuration

If this feature is intended to be used in multiple document libraries, it must be enabled for each library individually, in their mappings.
