Consistent phone numbers from SIP and TAPI values
Phone Connect extracts phone numbers from SIP and TAPI values and standardizes them before they are displayed or used for matching in the tray application and Business Central. Administrators can enable and adjust normalization in the SmartConnect settings. Incoming and outgoing calls now display consistent phone numbers without additional technical data. This improves caller identification and matching reliability, especially when softphones or TAPI drivers include technical data in the phone number field. Administrators can adapt normalization to each customer environment.
