Setting up Document Central to DC by Simova
Document Central comes with a standard configuration that covers all common scenarios and processes, but you can modify the configuration to tailor it precisely to your organization's needs.

To use Document Central for DC, you must activate Document Inbound in addition to Document Central and Document Capture, because a Document Inbound Inbound List with Assignment Type RecordID is required for processing. For Document Inbound, no additional transaction fees apply.
The following documentation describes how documents received via Document Capture are stored.
Before the features of Document Central for DC can be utilized, the corresponding extension must be installed from the Extension Marketplace. Simply activating the feature in the module setup is not sufficient to provide the functionality. Only after the extension is installed will the additional setup options and features be available.
Installation from the AppSource Catalog
Follow these steps to install Document Central for DC via the Extension Marketplace:
- Click on the search icon, enter Extension Marketplace, and select the corresponding link.
- Enter Document Central for DC in the search field on the right side.
- The Document Central for DC extension will appear in the search results.
- Click on the Free Trial button.
- Fill in the required information and click Next.
- Select your preferred language and click Install.
- Document Central for DC will now be installed.
Setup
- Open the Document Central - Module Setup.
- Switch to the Document Central to DC tab and expand it if it is not already expanded.
- Enable the Document Central to DC integration.
- Choose whether the documents should be uploaded to Document Central upon registration or booking.
Document Type Configuration
It is now possible to configure the various document types.
- Enable the document type you want to upload to Document Central.
- Choose which content type the documents should be uploaded with. It distinguishes whether the documents are received as an invoice or as a credit note.
- Enable the cleanup of Document Capture blobs if you want the documents to be available only in Document Central after registration/booking.

You can also use the same content types for invoices or credit notes.
