We have enhanced the Document Dispatch User experience by integrating salutations from the Business Central Standard into the placeholder configuration. Users can now define a placeholder for the BC salutation using a new checkmark column. Also, an additional column has been added for the contact field in the business mapping, enabling automatic navigation to the correct BC contact and generation of the appropriate salutation based on the salutation code. Users can also select whether to use a formal or informal salutation with the new formality column in the output settings. Sorting of attachments

A Functionality was implemented making it possible to define the Order of the Documents when they are merged via an Attachment Group

Before the implementetation the order of the Document whould be random based on the order in which the Documents where found. To make the merged PDF more redeable it is possible to define a sorting criteria for example when 4 DMS Documents where found 2 based on the Entry 1000 and 2 on the Entry 1010 then it is possible define a sorting criteria so that the dms documents that are define on the same entry are merged together.

An error occurred during the business partner selection if several static business partners were configured in the EDS and the send action was triggered via the factbox.

When the user tried to create a new Dispatch Profile, the table selection always returned the error that this record already existed. Now this error has been solved and the user can create a new Dispatch Profile, as well as new records on the other pages without problems again.

Switching the Business Relation Code does not delete business partner filters

Switching the Business Relation Code or Table field did not remove the old filter, and created an error because the old filter still exist. The user will now be asked to make a confirmation when the user wants to change the Business Partner field or the Table field. When the user confirm the field change, the filter will be completely deleted for the selected mapping.

Create the output type "Download"

A new output type has been added to the EDS which allows the attachments of the dispatch profile to be downloaded via the browser. This is possible with a new function in the EDS factbox "Download" that is displayed when creating a business partner that has a shipping profile assigned with the type Download, a PDF is then generated that is downloaded with the browser. If you have several documents that are not assigned to an attachment group, a zip file is generated that contains the attachments.
