Business Partner Configuration

The following steps need to be completed to enable or disable the Document Dispatch business partner creation.

  1. Open the Document Dispatch Setup.
  2. Enable or disable the option Enable Business Partner Creation in the Business Partner Setup part.

How to set the default language code for deliveries from Document Dispatch business partners with no configured language code

The following steps need to be completed to set the default language code for Document Dispatch business partners.

  1. Open the Document Dispatch Setup
  2. Enable the option Enable Business Partner Creation in the Business Partner Setup part.
  3. Select the language code with the Default Language Code option in the Business Partner Setup part.

How to set up a unique recipient adress

The following steps need to be completed to enable that two Document Dispatch business partners can't have the same recipient address.

  1. Open the Document Dispatch Setup.
  2. Enable the option Enable Business Partner Creation in the Business Partner Setup part.
  3. Enable the option Unique Recipient Address in the Business Partner Setup part.

How to set up the business partner dependent document merging

The following steps need to be completed to enable the field "merge result". This field is shown in the business partner list. When activating the merge result for an Document Dispatch business partner, PDF documents for that business partner will then be merged when sending them out.

  1. Open the Document Dispatch Setup.
  2. Enable the option Enable Business Partner Creation in the Business Partner Setup part.
  3. Enable the option Business Partner Dependent Merging in the Business Partner Setup part.
  4. Open the Business Partner List.
  5. Select a business partner and activate the field Merge Result.
