Setting Up an Attachment for a Codeunit Dispatch Profile

In document dispatch, it is possible to add individual documents to the dispatch profile. To enable the use of the Codeunit dispatch profile attachment, a Codeunit must be programmed. Steps to Set Up a Codeunit Attachment Type
Follow these steps to set up an attachment for a Codeunit dispatch profile:
- Start with the role "Document Dispatch - Administrator".
- Open Dispatch Profiles from the "Setup" menu in the ribbon, and select "Dispatch Profiles".
- Select the dispatch profile in which the Codeunit attachment is to be defined.
- Add a new line in the Dispatch Profile Attachment and select the attachment type "Codeunit".
- Use the search in the Object field to select the desired Codeunit.
- Click on the Options action in the ribbon.
- Enter the desired file label in the Field Label field and select it.
Using the Basic PDF Attachment Configuration for Codeunit Attachments
To use the Basic PDF Attachment Configuration for Codeunit attachment types, it is necessary to define the documents as PDF files.
Steps to Define the Attachment as a PDF File
Follow these steps to configure the attachment type as a PDF file:
- Start with the role "Document Dispatch - Administrator".
- Open Dispatch Profiles from the "Setup" menu in the ribbon, and select "Dispatch Profiles".
- Select the dispatch profile in which the Codeunit attachment is to be set.
- Add a new line in the Document Dispatch - Dispatch Profile Attachment and select the attachment type "Codeunit".
- Click on the Options action in the ribbon.
- Choose the type PDF or PDFA3.

Follow these steps to add a watermark to the PDF file:
- Start with the role "Document Dispatch - Administrator".

- Perform the Import PDF Watermark action in the ribbon.
- Select the desired watermark file.
- Choose the corresponding watermark addition in the Watermark Addition field.

- Select the desired letterhead file.

- In the Codeunit PDF Type field, select the option PDF/A-3.

Follow these steps to add an eDocuments attachment to the PDF file:
- Start with the role "Document Dispatch - Administrator".
- Open Dispatch Profiles from the "Setup" menu in the ribbon, and select "Dispatch Profiles".
- Select the dispatch profile in which the Codeunit attachment is to be set.
- Add a new line in the Document Dispatch - Dispatch Profile Attachment and select the attachment type "Codeunit".
- Click on the Options action in the ribbon.
- In the Codeunit PDF Type field, select the option PDF/A-3.
- Navigate to the PDF/A-3 tab.
- Select the attachment type eDocuments.
- Set the File Name to factur-x.xml.
- Define the eDocuments schema for ZUGFeRD in the Description field.
