Setting up Output Type Download
The Download output type can be used to download attachments defined in an Document Dispatch profile via browser handling. This documentation explains how to configure and use the Download output type.

Create a Download Dispatch Profile
The following steps need to be completed to set up an download dispatch profile.
- We start in the Document Dispatch - Administrator role.
- Open Dispatch Profiles from the Setup menu in the ribbon bar.
- Press New to create a new Document Dispatch profile.
- Enter the name you want in the Code field, then choose Download as an Output Type and the Table 112 (Sales Invoice Header).
- Apply the tab settings you like to use in the checkboxes beside it.

The output type Download can only be used with the report output type PDF or PDF/A3
Checkbox Options for Output Type Download
| Checkbox | Description |
|---|---|
| Enable Document Dispatch Factbox Sending | Enables the sending via the Document Dispatch Factbox and activates the Factbox itself. If you do not require this functionality, disable this option. |
| Use Dynamic Setup | Enables the dynamic setup, which utilizes dynamic business partner mappings to identify the recipient and their email address. More details can be found in the Dispatch Profile Configuration section. |
| Check for Unsend Entries | Enables the Dispatch Profile for sending Unsend Dispatch Entries on the Unsend Dispatch Entries page. If it is not active the Profile will not be considered. |
| Create Unsend Entries | Enables the creation for Unsent Dispatch Entries for the table of the Dispatch Profile if no valid Profile is found during the posting process. |
| Default Language Code | Specifies the default language code used for identifying the language. |
| Page | Specifies the page linked to the selected table. This page is used in the Document Dispatch Queue, allowing users to open the business partner record directly from the queue entry. |
How to use the Created Download Dispatch Profile
- Assign the previously created dispatch profile to a business partner or dynamic business partner.
- Click on the Search icon on the top right Corner and Search for Posted Sales Invoice.
- Select the posted sales invoice from which you want to download the configured report.
- Execute the Download Action on the Document Dispatch Factbox.
Execute the Download Function for multiple Record at once
It is possible to execute the download function for several posted sales invoices or posted sales credit memos at the same time. The following documentation explains how to use this function.
- We start in the Document Dispatch - Administrator role.
- Click on the Search icon on the top right Corner and Search for Posted Sales Invoice.
- Select the posted sales invoices from which you want to download the configured report.
- Click on Print/Send on the ribbon bar and execute the action Document Dispatch Download as PDF.

If everything is configured correctly, a merged PDF file will be downloaded containing all configured attachments for each selected record.
Create a Dispatch Profile Attachment
After creating the Dispatch Profile, the next step is to configure an Attachment. There are different types of attachments available, such as:
