Document Dispatch Copilot Quickstart

This guide walks you through the complete configuration of Document Dispatch Copilot. The setup is divided into two parts:

  • Activating Copilot features
  • Configuring an OpenAI service

Document Dispatch Copilot Feature

To activate the Copilot feature for Document Dispatch, follow these steps:

  1. Start as a Document Dispatch Administrator in the role center.
  2. Click on Setup in the menu bar and then on License.
  3. Scroll down until you see the Features field.
  4. Click on Copilot and activate the feature.

Copilot & Agent Feature

To activate the Copilot & Agent features, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the search icon in the upper right corner .
  2. Search for Copilot & Agent Features and open the page.
  3. In the General section, you will find several features. All Document Dispatch features are marked with the prefix (EDS). Select one or more and click Activate.

Attention

  • (EDS) Create Email Templates
    • This feature enables the creation of new email templates. More information can be found in this documentation.
  • (EDS) Translate Email Templates
    • This feature enables the translation of existing email templates. More information can be found in this documentation.
  • (EDS) Select Email Placeholders
    • This feature allows you to create a new set of placeholders in the dispatch profile. More information can be found in this documentation.
  • (EDS) Email Creation
    • This feature enables the creation of new emails and rewriting of existing emails via the Send Dialog. More information can be found in this documentation.

Document Dispatch Copilot Setup

To activate the deployment details for Document Dispatch Copilot, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the search icon in the upper right corner.
  2. Search for Document Dispatch - Copilot Setup and open the page.
  3. In the Deployment Details section, configure your credentials. If you do not currently have an Azure OpenAI service, you can follow this guide to set one up.

Note

If you want to use a managed resource, you can enable the option Use Managed Resources.
This option uses a managed Azure OpenAI deployment to ensure seamless integration with Microsoft Copilot features while guaranteeing security and compliance.
If managed resources are enabled, the GPT-4o model will be used.

Note: You must still provide the deployment details to confirm that you have access to Azure OpenAI Services.
