Getting Started with Document Central

This guide helps you quickly get started with Document Central by using the setup wizard and the default configuration. Document Central is designed to be user-friendly, allowing you to efficiently manage your documents right away. For advanced users, our platform also offers options for manual configuration to tailor it to your specific needs.

Try It Out

You can test Document Central for free for 30 days. Simply go to Microsoft AppSource and search for Document Central. Select the appropriate link and then choose Free Trial at the top left. This will install Document Central, which will then be ready for activation and setup with the help of guided setup instructions.

After activation and setup, you can use Document Central in full for free for 30 days. Towards the end of the free trial period, you will be asked if you would like to subscribe to Document Central to continue using it. If you decide to subscribe at any time during the trial period, you can continue your work and use the same data as during the trial.

Use the Document Central Role

Document Central offers a dedicated role for administration. For an optimal overview of the setup and status of Document Central processes, switch to the administrator role. This role also provides statistics on document management, allowing you to keep track of all document management processes.

Document Central includes the following roles:

  • Document Central Administrator
  • Document Central User
