Getting started with Document Central

This guide will help you quickly get started with Document Central using the setup wizard and standard configuration. Document Central is designed to be user-friendly, allowing you to manage your documents efficiently right out of the box. For advanced users, our platform also provides options for manual configuration to tailor it to your specific needs.

Try it out

If you’d like to try out Document Central before subscribing, you can sign up for a free trial. Opens the Microsoft AppSource and simply select Free trial in the upper-left corner. This free trial gives you access to all Document Central functionality for up to 30 days. Following the trial period, or at any point during it, you can easily subscribe to Document Central if you want. You’ll already be up and running when you subscribe, and you can then continue working with the same data as in the trial period. Use the Document Central Role

Document Central provides a dedicated role for administration. For an optimal overview of the setup and status of Document Central processes, switch to the Administrator role. This role also offers statistics for document management, allowing you to maintain an overview of all document management processes.

Document Central includes the following roles:

  • Document Central Administrator
  • Document Central User
