Setting Up the Portal Design

The portal offers various options to customize its appearance and align it with the company's corporate design. Custom logos, background images, and other graphic elements can be uploaded to visually match the desired representation of the portal.

General

In the General section of Business Portals, the basic information and status details of the portal are displayed. This includes the portal name, a description, and technical details such as version, Azure status, and associated URLs.

Adjusting Portal Name and Description

To adjust the portal name, follow these steps:

  1. Start in the Business Portals Administrator role center.
  2. Click on Portal.
  3. Select the portal whose name you want to adjust. Click on the portal name in the list to open the general settings page.
  4. Navigate to the General section.
  5. Under Portal Name, you can rename your portal.
  6. In the Portal Description field, you can enter any description.

Portal Images

In this section, the various image resources of the portal can be managed. This includes logos and background images that are displayed depending on the selected design (Light or Dark). By uploading custom images, the portal can be visually adapted to the desired corporate design.

Follow these steps to adjust images in the portal:

  1. Start in the Business Portals Administrator role center.
  2. Click on Portal.
  3. Select the portal whose images you want to adjust. Click on the portal name in the list to open the general settings page.
  4. Navigate to the Images section.
  5. Click on the field next to the desired image description to import a new image.
  6. Use drag-and-drop to add an image in the appropriate file format.

Info

For the Light and Dark portal variants, all images must be adjusted separately. Only .png and .jpg file formats can be used.

Adjusting Primary Color

In the portal, the color of buttons and icons can be adjusted. This central color definition is referred to as the primary color and affects all colored elements of the portal. Based on the specified color value, automatically graduated variants are generated to ensure a consistent and harmonious appearance.

Follow these steps to adjust the primary color of the portal:

  1. Start in the Business Portals Administrator role center.
  2. Click on Portal.
  3. Select the portal whose primary color you want to adjust. Click on the portal name in the list to open the general settings page.
  4. Click on Design (Light) or Design (Dark) in the menu bar.
  5. After clicking the action, the editor will open.
  6. Look for the value $primary.
  7. Replace the hex code behind $primary with the desired color value.
  8. Close the window again.

Updating Images

When you add or change images, it may be necessary to perform the update images action to ensure that the images are displayed correctly in the portal.

Follow these steps to update images:

  1. Start in the Business Portals Administrator role center.
  2. Click on Portal.
  3. Select the portal whose images you want to update. Click on the portal name in the list to open the general settings page.
  4. Click on the Update Images action in the menu bar.
  5. Your portal will open with the message The images have been successfully synchronized.
  6. Close the portal again or click on Back to Login.
