Detail Layout
The detail layout defines how the fields previously selected in the dataset table are displayed in the portal. You have various options to structure the information by grouping fields together or organizing them in collapses.
Follow these steps to set up a detail layout:
- Select a dataset from the dataset table in which you want to set up a detail layout.
- Click on Detail Layout in the menu bar of the dataset table area.
- The previously selected fields should now be displayed to you. Decide how you want to display the fields in the portal.
Groups
With the grouping function, fields that were previously selected in the dataset table can be displayed in a structured manner in the portal. Groups serve to present related information in a common area and to keep the view organized.
- Click on Group in the menu bar on the Dataset Table Layout page.
- Assign a unique code for the Group.
- Enter a description that matches the displayed information of the Group.
- In the Number column, you can specify how many columns the information should be displayed in.
- The new Group has been created. You can now assign the desired fields to it.
- If you have created multiple Groups, you can set the display order via the Order column.
Collapse
With collapses, fields that were previously selected in the dataset table can be displayed clearly in the portal. They allow for organizing additional information in expandable and collapsible areas.
- Click on Collapse in the menu bar on the Dataset Table Layout page.
- Assign a unique code for the Collapse.
- Enter a description that matches the displayed information of the Collapse.
- In the portal, this will be displayed as a heading and can be expanded or collapsed by clicking.
- In the Number column, you can specify how many columns the information should be displayed in.
- The new Collapse has been created. You can now assign it to the desired fields.
- If you have created multiple Collapses, you can set the display order via the Order column.
